Breakin' Out of Your Financial Funk!

While the recent AARP’s report  - The Economic Slowdown’s Impact on Middle-Aged and Older Americans states eighty-one percent say the economy is in fairly bad or very bad condition, it does not have to destroy our lives.

Emancipate from financial slavery. Financial slavery is not poverty. Financial slavery is allowing money or the lack of money to control our lives.
Ida Byrd-Hill wrote this book after a person told her she lived a silver platter life. When she told them she was having financial problems just like everyone else, except her belief is life is 10% of circumstances and 90% of how one thinks about those circumstances.  Each person has all the power to change how we think about circumstance. So consequently, she is extremely positive all the time creating ideas and opportunities.

After spending 10 years as a financial adviser and 5 years as a mortgage loan officer,  she realized people are very emotional about their money. In fact, their emotions drive all their decisions, good or bad. Rather than planning the numbers, Breakin' Out of Your Financial Funk! drives people to examine themselves and their mindset. It helps them to create a positive mindset even in the midst of financial funk. The United States is in a financial funk and it may require many of us to reorient careers, businesses, communities and lifestyles.
